Founder-Brown Suit Group, LLC

Ayanna Rutherford started working in the cannabis industry in 2017, helping clients navigate the licensing application process.  She writes international/state license applications, standard operating procedures, and general application content.  Ayanna also creates business, diversity, and employment plans for cannabis operators and a variety of industries.   

She launched the Brown Suit Group, expanding her services to include executive searches, staffing, and strategies for startups and existing businesses.  She specializes in social equity and disenfranchised groups. 

Ayanna is a Howard University alumna with a bachelor’s degree in political science. In her spare time, she enjoys practicing yoga and rooting on her favorite sports teams.
